Lewis Hamilton secured his sixth consecutive pole position at the 2015 Belgian GP, equalling Michael Schumacher’s benchmark of the same. The Mercedes driver is followed by teammate Nico Rosberg in second spot and Valterri Bottas in third.

The surprise of the qualifying session has been Sergio Perez who looks forward to the race positively as he starts fourth. His teammate nevertheless has not been able to have similar luck this weekend . He seemed to have powetrain issues from the first session and did not make it to Q3, making him start 11th on the grid.

Pirelli issued a statement about Rosberg’s tyre issue from yesterday saying there was an external cut in the tyre structure.
